ABC Chicago WindyCity Live met up with Jason Clark, a shoveler on the Shovler App, this week doing a job he accepted on the app. Here is a clip!
Although the clip is short, and doesn’t really do a great job of explaining the app, we love the clip because it shows just how great the Shovler community can be and the fun shovelers can have doing jobs.
A big thank you to Ji and Jason for being such great shovelers on the Shovler platform! And a big thank you to the rest of the tens of thousands of shovelers that are part of the Shovler community! You guys have been doing a fantastic job this winter.
We hope if you’re in Chicago, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Detroit (or other areas nearby) that you’re ready for a lot of snow shoveling jobs as you’re about to be hit by major snow storm Mateo.
Remember to tell your friends about Shovler too as the more people that are active, the more jobs that will be available. Let them know that Shovler is the easiest way to hire a snow shoveler!
The Shovler App is proud to have completed lots of jobs during the latest storm – especially in Denver, Boulder, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and St. Paul. We completed many jobs throughout Colorado, Wisconsin and Minnesota and even in places like Alaska and Quebec City.
We just wanted to share some nice reviews from the latest storm:
“I am SO HAPPY with the job my shovler did! When I placed the order I thought “ah, this is a bit pricey” but honestly he did an amazing job and this weather is no joke. So THANK YOU!! huge help for a little pregnant lady!”
“Best app ever! Created a profile, submitted a request and an hour later, two folks were doing a kick-butt job shoveling out my Denver driveway and walk!”
We hope you haven’t gotten too comfortable with the warm autumn that we’ve had across the country.
Winter is coming – and it’s going to be cold!
Latest weather forecasts are projecting that winter is going to very cold, and potentially very snowy.
If you haven’t prepared already, now is the time to buy a snow shovel and ice melt. Below are some links to ones we recommend. If you are a snow shoveler on the Shovler platform, you should consider buying some gear too.
Today saw the first significant snowfall in Denver, Colorado for the 2017-2018 season. Most of the snow didn’t stick to the pavement though due to the 70-degree heat over the last couple of days.
We’re sure many of you are wondering: When will it begin to snow in my state?
This nifty chart does a good job of showing when the first snowfall of the season usually happens throughout the USA.
It’s important to recognize that the first snowfalls in each state obviously differ based on the elevations within the state. The whitest/grayest areas, indicating the earliest snowfalls, are along the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachian Mountains as one would expect.
The good news is that the Shovler App continues to add shovelers in areas throughout Colorado such as Aurora, Englewood, Wheat Ridge, Denver, Fort Collins, and the list goes on.
Remember to share your individualized promo codes within the app in order to earn credits to be used in the app and find more snow shoveling jobs.
We are happy to announce that we just uploaded the newest version of the Shovler App for the 2017-2018 winter season!
Last season, we received lots of feedback from users, and tried to incorporate as much as possible into this version. We fixed bugs, increased security, updated the terms of service, revamped the payments, and added lots of new features including GPS tracking of shovelers, and chat integration.
If you have the old version of the app, please make sure to download the updated version from the App Store and Play Store, as the old version will no longer work.
In order to learn more about the new version of Shovler, and see more screenshots, please see our latest Medium post.
We chose to upload it today so that we would be ready for the snowfall today in Montana! We have snow shovelers registered throughout Montana including Great Falls, Billings, Missoula, Bozeman, and Helena.
It looks like snow season has begun in the U.S.A, at least in the mountains. According to news reports, “Rain at lower elevations and snow at higher elevations is expected to continue through Saturday.”
Even though this is snow is only in the mountains, it has still got us excited! We hope you are too!
We will be releasing the latest Shovler App in the very near future.
We hope you have been having a great summer and are enjoying the warm weather!
We just wanted to let you know that the Farmer’s Almanac was just published, and it’s forecasting a cold and snowy winter for the 2017-2018 winter season for some parts including the Northeast.
While we don’t know how accurate the Farmer’s Almanac is, we just wanted to let you know that we are hard at work improving the Shovler App for this upcoming season.
We have been working over the last 6 months to improve the user experience and add features that we believe are necessary to offer the best snow removal app experience. We think that users and snow shovelers will find the app to be even more useful this next winter.
Even though you’re likely not excited about a potentially cold and snowy winter, we just want to let you know that we are hard at work preparing to make it a bit more manageable.
In case you haven’t heard yet, there is a huge snow storm brewing for the east coast. They are expecting it to hit Monday night through Tuesday night and some meteorologists are estimating that this could be one of the top 5 largest snow storms to ever hit the east coast in March!
Shovler sent out an email to subscribers recently asking for feedback on the app, as we expected that the snowy season was winding down. Well, I guess we were wrong!
We just wanted to let you know that we will definitely be operating this storm. Make sure to download the app from the Google Play store or the App Store if you haven’t already.
Shovler is the largest snow shoveling app, and the easiest, most convenient way to order a snow shoveler. It also makes it easy for snow shovelers to find snow shoveling jobs nearby.
