Thank you for your interest in becoming a snow shoveler on the Shovler platform! Below outlines the steps required which should take less than 10 minutes to complete.<\/p>\n

  1. Register and activate a Shovler App account<\/li>\n
  2. Sign up or connect a Stripe account in the Wallet section of your Shovler App account<\/li>\n
  3. Obtain a snow shovel or snow blower (and salt if ordered)<\/li>\n
  4. Start accepting jobs on the Shovler App!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    NOTE: Only accept jobs that you plan to complete immediately. Shovelers that cancel jobs or do not show up to jobs are banned from the platform permanently.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Tips on Connecting a Stripe Account:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    While signed in as a shoveler: Open the menu –> click on Wallet –> click on the purple S Connect Stripe button.<\/p>\n

    You need to sign up to Stripe<\/a> in order to process customer credit cards.\u00a0Stripe is one of the largest payment processors in the world and the same platform that many other similar services like Lyft use.<\/p>\n

    Stripe requires a very complex password for account security. We have found that sometimes only a very complex password such as 5Blue2Gr$$n!! is required!<\/p>\n

    If you already have a Stripe account, you can login to your account to link it with the Shovler App.<\/p>\n

    If you don’t yet have an account, you can sign up by filling out the registration.<\/p>\n

    Stripe Registration Instructions:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    If you do not have a snow removal company, you can sign up as an individual or sole proprietorship and use your personal information when filling out the registration.<\/p>\n

    Statement descriptor<\/strong>\u00a0use Shovler and your last name, such as the example: “Shovler – Reynolds”.<\/p>\n

    Your website<\/strong> should be a URL to a personal social media page so Stripe can verify your identity.<\/p>\n

    If you do not fill out your account correctly Stripe may delay or prevent payments to you.<\/p>\n

    Please make sure to answer and respond to any emails that Stripe sends you and fulfill any verifications that they require.<\/p>\n

    If you have any questions or issues please feel free to email us at admin@shovler.com or reach out to Stripe directly (support@stripe.com). Transferring money from Stripe may take longer on the first time that you transfer money than usual.<\/p>\n

    Shovelers are paid after the job is rated by the user or 13 hours, whichever is sooner. If the user hasn’t rated the job in 13 hours, the job is automatically rated 5 stars.<\/div>\n

    Please make sure to login to your Stripe<\/a> account to see your payments. Payments from Stripe can then be transferred to your bank account automatically or manually depending on your settings in Stripe. Any Stripe related questions, please direct towards Stripe customer support at support@stripe.com.<\/div>\n

    Transfers from Stripe to your bank account generally take 2 to 3 business days, but your first transfer will take longer as they verify your information.<\/div>\n
