Premium Shoveler Accounts!

This year we introduced Premium Shoveler accounts as a way to improve the experience for both customers and shovelers.

Shovelers willing to pay a nominal fee are more likely to not cancel jobs that they accept which benefits the users. We have already seen a major reduction in cancellations this season.

Premium shovelers receive jobs sooner than regular shovelers, thereby rewarding Premium shovelers as well as giving customers more experience shovelers.

Knowing that Premium shovelers are less likely to cancel jobs enables us to offer additional features to them that we did not include in earlier versions of the app such as the ability to schedule multiple jobs and increase the radius to show jobs up to 20-miles.

Premium shoveler accounts also receive a reduced Shovler App admin fee by 1/3 (From 30% to 20%). This means the average Premium shoveler earns back this $20 fee within 1 to 2 completed jobs due to the reduced admin fee.

We continue to offer a regular shoveler option whereby you can accept shoveling jobs without paying any fees and have a similar experience as previous seasons.

We are happy to see that the amount of sign-ups for Premium shoveler accounts so far this season has surpassed our highest projections. We see long time users of the app especially upgrading to the premium option.
